Why choose a Hemi?

  • cross-flow aluminum cylinder heads with hemispherical combustion chambers create better thermal and volumetric efficiency - the engine can create more power without increasing compression
  • valve placement within the hemi combustion chamber are directly across from each other, as opposed to side-by-side, allowing for better flow of the intake and exhaust gases
  • spark plugs are better positioned within the hemi chamber to provide maximum ignition combustion and idle quality
  • steel rocker arm actuated splayed valves for high air flow
  • a new direct ignition system with high-power coils ensuring consistent, complete combustion
  • fully-balanced, cast, nodular iron crankshaft running in cross-bolted steel main bearing caps reduces deflection and vibration for reduced noise, vibration and harshness
